KUMA Restaurant

KUMA Restaurant is the bamboo dining pavilion within Wooloo Bamboo Villas in Garing, Consolacion, Cebu, designed to extend the resort’s vision of nature-centered hospitality. As one of the key structures in the development, the restaurant celebrates bamboo as both structure and atmosphere, creating a warm and immersive space for gathering, dining, and enjoying the surrounding landscape. The architecture highlights the expressive qualities of bamboo through its structural framework, natural textures, and open spatial planning. The structure was brought to life by the skilled hands of Wooloo’s in-house builders, using sustainably sourced bamboo supplied by Kawayan Collective. The result is a dining space that reflects the spirit of the resort — simple, grounded, and deeply connected to nature.
